We are youth activists who work together to raise awareness about a plethora of environmental issues and promote sustainability in our community!
Our Story
Our founder, Meenakshi, thought about how little she knew about ways to take care of the environment, like what materials can be recycled by the city. She realized most youth are not well informed like her, which is why she created Green Planet so she could work with others to learn and do more to improve the environment.
In almost a year now, Green Planet has gained new members, created media outreach, and accomplished a Spring Clothing Drive for Note in the Pocket. We are very excited that we have been able to spread the word about our club and bring more awareness to climate issues.
